We here in Australia are just about to receive our lovely new Carbon Tax. It was sold to the public that it would help clean up the planet by punishing heavy polluters. However if that was the case then why call it a carbon tax? Why not a polluters tax? This video explains what carbon is and why is it not just important to life, but essential, as life on earth could not possibly exist without carbon. In effect, a Carbon Tax, opens the door to tax ANYTHING with carbon in it. Which includes, food, medicine, clothes, construction material for our homes, even the air we breathe. It can even tax the very trees, that can actually help clean the air of excess carbon.
